Men Arrested with 17 SIM Cards Activated Previously

Letter: Special Operations Group Team (SOG) caught a photographer for allegedly having 17 SIM cards that had been activated which he tried to find customers under the Flyover Bridge Udhna Kharwarnagar on Friday.
The defendant Ashish Metliwala told the police that he had bought a SIM card from an unknown person he contacted the telegram.
He has bought a SIM card for RS 3,500.
Facing the financial crisis after he did not get photographic jobs over the past few months, Matliwala planned to sell these cards to get money, police said.
The SOG team received specific information about the Matliwala movement and after he could not provide a satisfactory explanation or document about how these cards appeared, the police arrested him.
A violation has been registered at the UDHNA police station.
Home Introduction Introduction revealed that Matliwala is a member of the OTP Indian Group Telegram.
“One person dropped a message in the group that offered a pre-active cellphone SIM card.
Matliwala contacted the person through the telegram and bought a card for RS 3,500,” said a police officer.
The seller accepts payment through a cellular wallet and sends a pre-active card via courier.
The person at the other end told Matliwala that he came from Odisha, even though the police had not confirmed the location.
“The two defendants speak through the telegram and detailed applications.
Card sellers get a SIM card from Vodafone-ideas enabled using other people’s documents,” the police said.
Matliwala was looking for a buyer because he was unemployed for the past few months and needed to get money.
