Thiruvananthapuram: A 32-year-old man died in Kalladichammoola near Pachalloor below the Kovalam police station after he fell from the cliff in the mine.
Abhiraj, son of Sarasaramma Kalladichamma is the deceased.
The police said that the accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m.
on Sunday when Abhiraj stood on a cliff mine located close to his house.
According to Abiraj’s friends, he stood on the edge of the cliff which was almost 80 feet high when he slipped and fell.
Even though he was rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident, his life could not be saved.
His relatives say that Abhiraj often get used to bathing in a pond in the mine with friends, especially during the holidays.
On Sunday he also along with his friends proceeding to the pond under the mine when the tragedy hit the .abiraj working with food catering services.
Besides the mother, she left Manjusha’s wife and an anantharaj son of 18 months old.
