LONDON: Supported by snacks tucked away in their helmets, around 240 savings worked in shifts for more than two days to help free a cave explorer who lost his footing and fell into one of the deepest English holes.
Forming a human chain, the savior of at least eight teams in the UK raised the 40-year-old man on Monday to the entrance of Ogof Ffynnon Ddu, also known as the Black Spring Cave, 54 hours after he fell.
