Rajkot: A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his friend for cutting a birthday cake on Sunday night at Bhavnagar.
The victim was identified as a Gopal Rathod, a Mafatnagar resident near Lake Prabhudas in Bhavnagar.
According to complaints submitted by the Gopal sister Ranjan Rathod with the Gangajiya police station, Vishal Gohel has killed his brother.
The police said that the birthday of the Gopal on Sunday so he went to the Soni Bazaar area where he used to live a few years ago, to celebrate his special day with old friends.
“He also brought his birthday cake Self from that place, “said the police source.
Prakash tried to intervene, but Vishal attacked him too.
The gopal rushed to a civil hospital in Bhavnagar where he gave up on an injury.
Gopal, who works in a private company in Bhavnagar, congratulations from his wife Roshni.
