Pune: Wakad police on Sunday ordered a man on charges of robbing a woman who had stalked his smartphone.
An officer from Police Wakad said the 22-year-old woman and the defendant knew each other.
According to the complainant, the man constantly harassed it with phone calls and unsolicited text messages.
“Frustrated by harassment, the woman has blocked the number.
Even so, he found a way to continue to disturb Him, using another cellphone number,” the officer said.
The woman worked in the Wakad area.
On Sunday, when he was in the office, the suspect appeared and harassed the woman.
“The woman took out her cellphone to call the police.
At this point, the defendant grabbed her cellphone and escaped,” the officer added.
