Berlin: Mercedes-Benz Daimler plans to build a new electric vehicle model in China from 2024 – the first new model made exclusively in China, Handelsblatt reported on Thursday quoted unnamed sources.
If the sale is successful, the model can be exported to another market, Handelsblatt reported, adding that the final decision was still ongoing.
Daimler was not immediately available for comments, and declined to comment on Handelsblatt.
