Chennai: Following class X and XII leaks revised the revised question papers, the Tamil School Education Department on Tuesday suspended the Chief of the Tiruvannamalai District Education Officer (CEO) to Violating the procedure.
District CEO Villupurum Krishnapriya has been given additional charges of the Tiruvannamalai district.
“While the investigation into the allegations of the grave against the Ariment was waiting and in the case of the case, it was necessary to put the S Thursday, CEO of Tiruvannamalai, under the suspension.
He was placed under the suspension of service with orders immediately up to the order” Commissioner of School Education K Nanthakumar stated in order on Tuesday.
Officials from the department said the CEO had submitted question letters from all tests directly to schools before the exam instead of keeping them in a strong room and sending it to schools on the exam days.
District education officials were also directed at filing police complaints against two schools from where the paper question was leaked.
The department is conducting a general revision test of the state level to prepare students for the council exam.
Class X and class XII Question papers are available at WhatsApp the day before the test.
Question papers for chemistry, mathematics for class XII leaked the day before the test while the paper question science questions also leaked.
Based on paper pictures of leaking questions, both schools from where the question paper circulates identified.
The inspection of the Director Joint PON Kumar conducted an investigation on Monday about how papers leaked in the two schools – Matriculation of the Auxilium School School in Pollur and Hasini International Matriculation High School in Vadavasi.
Based on the investigation report, the school education department suspended the CEO.
After question paper leaks, officials of the school education department said signs in the first revision test would not be considered a reference sign.
“Revision tests are carried out to prepare students for the council exam and also to maintain these signs as a reference sign for the future of incase the council exam canceled.
Because of leakage, the department will not consider the first revision test for reference,” an official from the Ministry of Education School said.
The first revision test will end on February 16.
The second revision test is scheduled between March 28 and April 5.
