Chennai: Aiadmk on Saturday petitioned Madras Petition at the Attorney General’s High Court Munishwar Nath Bhandari, urged him to take awareness of Suo Motu for the death of “mysterious” from Venthosh Kumar Santhosh Kumar.
The party is looking for a CBI investigation monitored by a retired judge for death.
Secretary of the wing wings of the party advocates and members of the Advisory Committee of L Act on Babu Murugavel, who filed a petition to the chairman of the acting justice, sent a representation to President RAM Nath Kovind, Chair of the Indian People N V Ramana and Director of CBI Subodh Kumar Jaiswal.
In his petition, AIDMK officials accused Venkatatchalam, which was appointed as Chair of the Pollution Control Board during the AIDMK regime, refused to cooperate with the current government, because the officers were threatened and forced to resign from his office.
The government, using DVAC, started the search in its place and said that 11 lakh and some gold and silver items recovered from there.
Murugavel also accused Santhosh Kumar committed suicide by jumping before the train ran due to pressure from members of the DMK and contractor.
Sub-collectors and supervisors of Tirunelveli District Police were also transferred when they issued their duties.
“As a police department, which includes CB-CID and DVAC, acting as a puppet with the current government, an independent body such as the CBI should be self-investigating Venkatachalam’s suicide and Santhosh Kumar,” said AIADMK official, urged the court to direct the state government to withstand interference with evidence in an investigation.
