Patna: Patna District Administration has issued a notification based on Section 11 of Land Liberation Law, 2013 to obtain 76 hectares of land between NIRL Mile and Patliputra Interstate Bus Terminal (ISBT) for the Patna Metro Rail project.
The acquisition process will be completed in February 2022 to open the way for the construction of the Metro Station ISBT and Patna Metro Rail Depot in Ranipur and Pahadi.
The state government has provided sanctions around RS1,000 Crore to the district government to acquire land for depots and an ISBT metro station.
Pramod Kumar District Procurement Officer told this newspaper on Sunday that every objection about land acquisition can be submitted by people who are interested within 60 days from the date of publication of the notification, as stipulated in Section 15 of the Act.
“After hearing income and then the amount specified as compensation below Section 19 The law will be published.
Compensation will be given to the land owner based on the level,” he said.
Officials of the Urban Development and Housing Department (UDHD) said that when the government process had begun for land acquisition near Patliputra ISBT, Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRC) will begin the loan process from the next International Corporation (JICA) body in the next few days.
Patna Metro Rail is an ambitious project from the government led by Kumar Nithish.
This will be developed with an estimated construction cost of Rp9,201.22 Crore, not including the cost of land acquisition to be fully borne by the state government.
The center and each country will bear 20% of the project costs while the remaining 60% will be borrowed as a loan from JICA.
A PMRC official said once they get a loan from JICA, working at the underground station and the network will begin.
“Initially, the construction of twin tunnels, underground roads in Rajendra Nagar and six underground stations from Rajendra Nagar to Akashvani (which is part of the corridor II) will begin.
The work has been going on at 6.1 km which was elevated by the corridor II of Malahi Pakri To ISBT.
It includes five stations – Malahi Pusti, Khemnichich (interchangeable station), Jalan Bhootnath, Zero Mile and ISBT.
This stretch is also known as a priority corridor, “he said.
According to officials, 101 pillars have been made from Malahi Pakri to BHOOTNATH while the pillar 210 will have absolutely developed for a high network for corridor II.
Te stack work has also been started from Zero Mile to ISBT.
The elevated part is likely to be ready on December 202.
