New Delhi: MG Motor India on Wednesday revealed aspects of technology from the upcoming Astor SUV, and a top official company confirmed the launch scheduled for the celebration season.
“Our target is to bring Astor during the celebration season.
We hope that the global and semiconductor chip situation does not play damper at times,” said Gaurav Gupta, COO, MG Motor India.
Gloster, revealed last year, is the most affordable A-watershed driver (assist driver) vehicle in India.
The Saic-supported company has stepped forward with Astor, claims the autonomous feature level 2 in the SUV.
Astor Level 2 MG Autonomous is powered by a mid-range radar and a multi-purpose camera that can realize a series of advanced driver assistance systems (fennel).
These include adaptive cruise controls, advanced collision warnings, automatic emergency braking, lanes maintain, path departure warnings, lane’s departure prevention, intelligent headlamp control (IHC), rear drive assistance (RDA) and speed assistance system.
Astor will extend more than 4 meters but it will be smaller than Hector in terms of size.
The personal AI assistant will be involved with the people in the car and powered by I-Smart Hub.
This is a platform where partnerships, services, and CAAP subscriptions will stay.
Astor in terms of features will be superior to Hector.
Rajeev Chaba, President and MD, MG Motor India, said, “As a brand of automated technology, we always introduce breakthrough technology and now, we move forward with artificial intelligence.
Astor goes further and catalyst for disorders.
The first features in the industry and Best in his class that customers only get a premium / luxury segment.
