New Delhi: Strengthen connected car technology, MG Motor India on Tuesday announced a partnership in the Internet (IOT) room with Jio India.
The partnership will provide integration of IT systems that are made possible by the Jio IoT solution in the upcoming MG middle size SUV.
JIO, the largest integrated telecommunications service provider in India, will support automotive solutions designed to provide various consumer and company services.
MGG size SUV customers will benefit from the internet range of Jio widespread, along with high-quality connectivity, not only in Metros but also in small cities and rural areas.
The new vehicle solution that is connected to Jio is a combination of hardware, software, and connectivity that will allow users to access trend infotainment and real-time telematics while traveling because it carries the benefits of digital life to the vehicle and to people while traveling.
MG Motor India has begun its journey in India with the launch of the first internet connected to the country – Mg Hector, followed by Pure Electric Internet SUV – MG ZS.
It also launched a gloster with autonomous level 1 features, including autonomic emergency braking (AEB), adaptive cruise ship control (ACC) and other advanced features.
