A few months ago Microsoft released a new Media Player application for Windows 11.
Until now, this application is only available for Windows 11 users listed on the Dev channel of Windows Insider Program.
Now the company has announced that redesigned media players also come to the beta channel.
Media Player application replaces Microsoft’s default music player application – Groove Music on Windows 11 and Windows 10.
The company has revealed that the groover music library of users and playlists will automatically migrate to new applications.
Dedicated playback display ART album features and artist gailery that will appear on the full screen and mini player.
This application also includes support for exploring, managing, and watching local video collections too.
All content in a music folder and video on a PC will appear automatically in the application library, but users can also notify media player places to find additional content in application settings.
Microsoft claims that the application has also been optimized for accessibility, with enhanced keyboard shortcuts and major support access for keyboard users and with other auxiliary technology.
Apart from this, the company also launched a re-redesigned notepad application and photo application to more recent users.
The notepad application is equipped with updated UI including round corners, Mica, and more.
One of the most awaited features of the new application is dark mode.
By default, notepad will adapt to the user system theme preferences, but they can change this option itself on the new setting page which is a new home for the font option too.
The company has also redesigned the experience of finding and changing in the application.
Apart from this, this application is now equipped with support for multi-level undo.
Photos-redesigned applications on Windows 11 come with new features in Edit options such as planting tools, aspect ratios and others.
This application also allows users to adjust the brightness of the image along with new mark-up options.
Users can also rotate images vertically using the application, previously the rotary tool only works horizontally.
