In a great honor for the top Indian technology skills that have taken over the silicon valley in the US, the Indian government has given Padma Bhushan to the chairman of Microsoft and CEO of Satya Nadella and Alphabet and Google Pichai Sundar among 17 recipients.
Padma Bhushan is the third highest civilian award in this country, after Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan.
Born on June 10, 1972 in Madras (now Chennai), Pichai Sundararajan – better known as Sundar Pichai – obtained a degree from IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical techniques.
Moving to the US, he got MS from Stanford University in Science and Material Engineering and then received an MBA from the Pennsylvania University Wharton School.
Pichai began his career as a material engineer.
After a brief task at McKinsey & Co.
management consulting company, he joined Google in 2004, and the rest was history.
Pichai was taken as the next CEO of Google on August 10, 2015, after previously appointed by the Product Head by the CEO Larry Page.
He was appointed to the Alphabet Board of Directors in 2017.
He was included in the annual list of 100 most influential people in 2016 and 2020.
Pichai married Anjali Pichai and had two children.
The interest of recreation includes cricket and football.
On the other hand, Satya Narayana Nadella was born on August 17, 1967 in Hyderabad (Telangana at this time).
His mother Prabhavati was a Sanskrit lecturer, and his father, Bukkapuram Nadella Yugandhar, was an IAS officer from Batch 1962.
Nadella studied at Hyderabad State School, Begumpet, before receiving a graduate in the field of electrical engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka in 1988.
He then moved to The US to study for MS in computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, produced a title in 1990.
Then, he received an MBA from the School of Business University of Chicago in 1997.
He is currently the chairman of the Executive and CEO of Microsoft, Successfully Steve Ballmer In 2014 as CEO and John W.
Thompson in 2021 chairman.
Before becoming the CEO, he was the Executive Vice President of Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise Group, responsible for building and running the company’s computing platform.
