Union 2022 budget is just a few more days.
There was a parley of the hectic that occurred throughout the industry to encourage its demands to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The list is long, with each sector having its own wishlist.
As a great day nearby, our Tii Tech-Gadgets now speak to some prominent content makers on YouTube about their platforms and expectations of the upcoming budget.
What makes you choose YouTube as a platform? One of our friends suggested that we make some videos about investment and release it on YouTube.
It was early 2016.
Initially the response was slow but finally people started to like it.
Our initial focus is on financial planning and mutual funds.
Then, video requests related to stock analysis began to rise.
And, we also noticed that there was a higher involvement in the video.
So, we also look for stock analysis videos.
Now, we have three channels.
Investment Academy Yadnya, Parimal Ade & Investment Gappa with Parimal Ade.
What support do you get from Google? Everything related to managing our channel effectively.
Their analytics tool is the best.
This tells us about reach, involvement, audience, income, etc.
They tell us what our customers pay attention to, when they are active on YouTube.
This helps us in planning our content and reaches the maximum number of people.
What are your expectations from the budget come? Focus must be on infrastructure development (road, train, port, SEZ).
Another area that needs to be considered is the education sector (expenditure must be more specifically in rural areas).
Incentives to improve health care must be given such as increasing the number of hospitals and medical colleges throughout India.
Last but not least, a special encouragement on clean and green energy initiatives.
Whatever you think of FM can be done and must be done for retail investors? Taxation slab must be increased because more disposable income can help increase expenses and help some economic parts.
The tax benefit at home loan limits must be increased.
The 80C part of the limit must be increased from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2-2.5 lakh.
Long-term Capital Gains The detention period for equity must be increased from one year to three years because this will help instill a long-term mindset for equity allocation.
If the government increases this holding period, it does not need to have a long-term capital tax on equity.
It can be zero anymore.
To avoid speculative mindset, the government can increase short-term taxes for equity up to 20%.
