Microsoft has tried to remove traditional control panels with slow moving options to the new setting application, since the launch of Windows 8.
The company has moved several settings since then and now with the latest Windows 11 Build, Microsoft has moved a pair of more options from the control panel to Setting application.
The company has revealed changes with the release record of Windows 11 Build 22509.
As part of the control panel called the new, the company has now moved the advanced sharing settings option to the settings application.
This step includes the option such as network invention, sharing files and printers, sharing public folders and more.
This option can be found in the settings application under the advanced network settings.
The company has also determined that the option for network settings and devices in the control panel will now direct users to the new-related settings page automatically.
The control panel has become an integral part of the Windows ecosystem for a long time.
The inheritance option does not change for a long time and has become the most common for users to find the necessary settings and other options.
While the development in the application settings is slow, it’s good to see that Microsoft finally puts efforts to streamline applications with all important features and options.
