MySuru: Mysuru residents will have to come out more to ride a rickshaw automatically start today, February 2.
Regional transportation authorities led by Deputy Commissioner Bagadi Gautham on Tuesday were announced to raise rates demanding drivers and trade unions.
As a revised rate, the tariff for two kilometers will be RS 30 and every kilometer in a row will cost the additional RS 15.
The last tariff was revised in 2014.
“Automatic drivers have pressed the old revision.
The proposal was approved during the meeting here,” said deputy commissioner toi.
The source claims the tariff has been revised on the Bengaluru lane where the minimum rate is Rs 30 for the initial 2km and after that RS 15 is charged for each kilometer next.
Automatic drivers have been asked to recalibrate the tariff meter and get approval from the Legal Metrology Department.
