Nagpur: Accepting Maha Vikas Aghadi Minister of KC Cabinet Padvi from the shield involved in the 2019-20 Grain procurement scandal in Bhandara, a member of the Legislative Council (MLC) from Bhandara-Gondia, Parinay Fuke, on Monday demanding its ownership.
In a letter to the Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray, Fuke claimed that the committee investigating the procurement of scam grains had not made progress in the past 10 months.
Speaking to Toi, Fuke said, “Scandal of grain procurement occurs when the department is led by one polite Sambhare.
When a special investigation team (sitting) was formed, Sambhare was transferred to another department.
Now, I have learned that he has been brought back again.
I Have asked CM Thackeray to see the role of Padvi in this matter and ignore it.
“Fuke said he had tried to tell the government about this problem for a long time, but it didn’t work.
“I even raised this problem on the board, and the answers given on the floor of the house were that the problem would be seen.
But until now the investigation has not developed.
I am sure that the top politician is involved in this and that’s why nothing happens,” said Fuke .
Fuke is known as aide near the former Minister of Devendra Fadnivis.
