Minister: The patient will shift to CCCS if a surge case

Mangaluru / Udupi: Energy Minister Sun Sunil Kumar has said that patients will shift to Covid care centers if the Udupi district continues to witness the Covid-19 case surge.
At the meeting in Udupi, the minister said the district government would continue to do around 8,000 tests every day.
“Covid care centers have been reopened in all the talents.
At present, this district only has 61 patients undergoing hospital treatment and others in house isolation.
Houses and other accommodations of those who have been tested positively will be sealed,” said minister.
Of the 53.55 children aged between 15 and 18 years in the district, 31,931 was vaccinated, the minister said all cultural events on January 17 night will be allowed until 9pm.

This district identified three Covid-19 clusters again at Kulai, Kuloor and at Mangaluru.A Cluster has been identified at Nursing Universities in Mangaluru with five positive cases with a travel history of visiting Goa.
Meanwhile, 15 cases were reported in two clusters at Kulai and Kavoor.
All 15 have visited West Bengal.udi reported 219 new cases with a 4.4% test level of test.
