Gurgaon: Street vendors allegedly kidnapped and hit by three young men, who accused him of stealing cellphones, on Friday.
The young men allegedly kidnapped Suraj (25) from his mound in sector 86 and took him to empty plots in sector 84, where they attacked him.
FIR has been submitted against them.
This is the second incident in a week where a young man was kidnapped and attacked in a wrong identity case.
On Monday, three men were contacted at the badminton academy after they were mistakenly identified by the trainees as the hand of the motorbike riders who had committed it.
One of the men died.
The police said they had not found the role of Suraj in stealing cellphones and the defendant also had not registered complaints of cellular theft.
