Amravati: City Police have placed Badnera MLA Ravi Rana in the arrest of a house under the 144 CRPC for the alleged actions of installing Shivaji Maharaj statue in Rajapeth flyover in the city late January 12, birthday from Ms.
Chhatrapati Jijabai.
Police Commissioner Meaning Singh told the Toi that Ravi Rana and his followers illegally penetrated the taste for installing the statue of Shivaji Maharaj.
When the authority of the citizenship knew this, the police offered them protection to remove the same night statue as it was installed without following legal procedures, said CP.
Party Activist Yuva Swabhiman Rana then burned the effigion of the Commissioner of Amravati Pravin Ashhtikar in front of the shutter house in protest.
“We have put MLA under house arrest.

The shutter claims the statues are installed throughout Maharashtra illegally, without seeking permission from the authorities,” said CP.
