Mangaluru: Mangalureant Major Neil Silas Lobo was decorated with a Sena medal during the Army Day Parade in New Delhi on Saturday.
8th lights cavalry member of the Indian Army, he was seconded to Rashtriya Rifles.
He was praised for his galantry during Cordoning operations at Jammu and Kashmir on October 19, 2020.
On that day, he led counter-terrorism operations, and managed to neutralize two terrorists.
He was promoted to the rank of majors in December 2020.
