Nagpur: National Assessment Panel and Accreditation Board (NAAC), which is based on to show deficiency at Nagpur University, has provided a bad value for that, according to its official.
One of the oldest universities in India, NU without value now after its validity ended on December 9, 2019, due to official indifference.
In 2014, NU was awarded ‘A’ with CGPA 3.08 / 4.
However, the original NAAC team from Bengaluru will visit NU from September 2 to 4.

According to NU officials, the Mock Naac team, consisting of one retirees and one VC today from outside Maharashtra along with one member of MP, visited various departments and conducted college.
The panel found very inadequate facilities and noted that there was a lack of research activities in most of them, and a little submitted patent.
Naac Coordinator Smita Acharya declined to comment on stating that he was not authorized to talk to the media about any problems.
In the report, the counterfeit panel consisting of former VC from Aurangabad and VC today from Karnataka University also showed large vacancies in all NU departments and colleges, so it greatly affected academic performance and research activities.

NU officials said artificial panels also suggested to clean up campuses, because grass and bushes were seen everywhere because of the rain and the place looked unwell.
Even many departments do not have adequate facilities and equipment for research activities as needed to secure upscale.
“We have provided a facelift to campus according to the advice of the Mock panel.
We aim to achieve the highest value,” they said.

NU also decided to extend the date of acceptance of undergraduate after MC members demanded it.
