Mokariya sent to police custody

Vadodara: Kanji Mokariya, Managing Director of the Courier Company, returned to police detention until Friday 4pm by the Judicial Magistrate Court on Wednesday.
Mokariya was arrested on Tuesday for helping Pavagadh Temple Trustee Raju Bhatt, accused of raping a law student, in escaping from the city.

The request was opposed by the lawyer Mokariya Kaushik Bhatt who believed that his client did not have a role to play or help who was accused of being accused of crime as a suspicion of law students.

The trial will now take place on October 4 when the investigative officer is likely to submit a written statement to oppose the guarantee.
