Vadodara: Kanji Mokariya, Managing Director of the Courier Company, returned to police detention until Friday 4pm by the Judicial Magistrate Court on Wednesday.
Mokariya was arrested on Tuesday for helping Pavagadh Temple Trustee Raju Bhatt, accused of raping a law student, in escaping from the city.
Sleuth branch crime produces Mokariya before the court seeks his detention for a week.
The request was opposed by the lawyer Mokariya Kaushik Bhatt who believed that his client did not have a role to play or help who was accused of being accused of crime as a suspicion of law students.
However, Judge Yudicial B Rave, however, suspended Mokariya for two days because the police had to interrogate him together with Bhatt.
“It was said that the police had to investigate how Mokariya helped Bhatt from escaping from the city and helped him by giving Rs 75,000.
The police will also interrogate him about Mokariya’s mediation who tried to do between the main defendants and complainants before the case was registered,” additional public prosecutors Sagar Desai .
He added that the police would also interrogate him about why he introduced a complainant to Bhatt when he lived in his hotel.
Meanwhile, the researchers also searched for new dates in the hearing of anticipatory Guaranteed Plea submitted by Ashok Jain accused.
The trial will now take place on October 4 when the investigative officer is likely to submit a written statement to oppose the guarantee.
Investigation officer, on Wednesday, also attracted the application for Jain’s arrest warrant.
