Haveri: A monkey on Sunday digs the baby’s death from the hole and refuses to part with the body, jumps from a tree to a tree that holds a baby who has died by sinking.
The video of the mother langur has won the heart on social media, moving some humans to cry.
According to eyewitnesses, Langur who was close to the baby died after sank in Basaveshwar Nagar at Haveri City on Sunday.
Some residents dig a hole and gave a small burial.
But in half an hour, bigger strangers, maybe his mother, arrived and explored the hole he took out lifeless babies and climbing trees.
“The monkey did not want to leave his baby.
He dug out the grave and stick to his baby.
It restored the heart,” said Residen and Hugar’s prania eye witness.
“He followed us while we bury the baby.
After we got home, he took out his body.
I cried when I saw his sadness,” said Pranati.
