“Strengthening the western-west wind of the Arabian sea and the possibility of the formation of a low-pressure area above the Western center and side by side Northwest Bay Bengal will produce active rainy season conditions with increased rainfall activity in various parts of the country,” said Manoj Rajar, Commissioner, KSNDMC.
He said for the remaining duration of southwest monsoon (until the end of September), the state is likely to see normal to the above normal.
