Rajkot: Almost three weeks after a 26-year-old man in Morbi lived on social media before ending his life because of alleged abuse by in-laws, his wife and three family members were ordered for suicidal reduction.
Kishan Goswami, a resident of Meera Park at Vavdi Road in Morbi, hung himself at his home on July 17.
The police said he was reported to be fed up by harassment by his in-laws.
During a direct session, Goswami blamed his wife for forcing him to take extreme steps.
Ms.
Goswami Kiran filed a complaint to his son’s wife Mitali, Pankaj-in-law’s father Goswami and Lata’s mother-in-law under Section 306 (suicide reduction) from the Criminal Code.
Sister Latas Sudha Goswami was also named in complaints.
Goswami married Mitali and the couple lived in Morbi.
Because it was a love marriage, Goswami-in-laws opposed the relationship and allegedly harassed it.
They brought Mitali back to their homes and also submitted a case against Goswami.
“I can’t live anymore.
Mitali, when I die, came to see my body once.
I love you, but your parents took my life in return.
They really harassed me so I had to end my life.
I appeared on social media because someone would help My parents in this case after my death.
I pray to God not to be reborn as a human being.
Bye Mitali, Alvida! “Are the last words of Goswami on social media.
