Chennai: Three car accidents including one drunk driving have shaken the city in two days, which leads to one losing life and extensive damage to the vehicle.
Residents said the intensity of election inspection had caused loose in examining ordinary violations.
The police, however, claimed they had intensified checks against drunk driving and ordered 704 cases since January.
On February 12, a car that quickly ran over the pedestrian and caused damage to five cars and bull bull trains on the fourth main road in Gandhi Nagar, Adyar renamed Adithanar B.
Then crashed into five other cars and crashed into rules, brought Fruits left other road users with panic.
On February 13, a TV journalist drove a car under the influence of alcohol at 5 am, fatal knocked down a woman in Thiruvanmiyur.
The same night, two luxury cars competed against each other on the second road at Anna Nagar when the driver of one lost control and hijacked to the supermarket, leaving two people injured.
Police denied it was part of ‘race’.
Many motorists said to check driving during the usual examination was not done at this time.

“Pedestrian security is on danger.

“We plan to increase checkpoints to end driving and driving in a drunken state, especially during weekends.”
