Aurangabad: The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a yellow warning for half of the district, including Nanded, Parbhani, Hingoli and Latur, in the battered Marathwada region.
The IMD stated that the district is very likely to rain in several places along with storms, lightning or strong winds.
More rain also existed in stores for Aurangabad and three of the remaining districts in the region, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad, with the estimated rain of light to moderate in the middle of a storm.

This region has received 874 mm rainfall since June 1, which is 136% of the expected shower.

“Each Disaster Management Authority has been asked to be ready to face all the possibilities arising from heavy rain,” he said.
