More than 1 Lakh teenager takes Jab in the first 72 hours: Government

Ranchi: Nearly 1.34 Lakh Young Recipients Age aged between 15-17 has taken their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday night, the State Health Department claimed in the daily covid bulletin.
When a national vaccination drive for 15-17 years the group began on January 3, there was an estimate of the beneficiary population of 23.98 lakh.
On Wednesday night, almost 5.6% of all beneficiaries of qualified benefits had taken their first jab.
“There is a lot of excitement and interest between the age group to take Jab,” said a doctor who was involved with Ranchi regional health services.
Vaccination camps, which are being established in government and private schools for encouragement, have witnessed heavy footsteps since morning Ranchi (12,446).
A total of 10,130 young people took their first dose in Garhwa while 10.121 got their first jab in Leather.
