Vadodara: Investigating into drugs drugs by a family of four has revealed that they are used to target young people who study in college or those who work in private companies.
This case has been submitted to the detection of Crime Branch (DCB) which is now trying to track parents who encourage their children into drug trafficking.
“Mohnisa Munshi and his brother Shaqib Munshi, who were highly educated, used to hang out near the Institute and College of Education in the city.
They are familiar with gel with children and make them addicted to drugs.
It’s easy for them to find customers in places like that , “said a crime branch official.
They also use young people working in large companies in the commercial complex and those who visit the parror beauty.
During their questions, the duo brothers and sisters revealed that around 25 to 30 young people were used to buy drugs from them regularly.
Apart from Mohnisa and Shaqib, their friends met Thakkar and Nupur Sehagal, who worked for multinational companies (MNC), were also arrested by the police.
The four were sent to police custody for one day on Wednesday.
The police have not arrested Abdullah Patel and his wife Zarina, Mohsina’s parents and Shaqib.
The police said that Mohsina came into contact with a dilip, Anand residents, when he studied there.
Diliped told him about drug trafficking after Mohsina discussed it with Zarina.
The whole family then decided to enter the drug trafficking because it made fast money.
