Ahmedabad: More than 7,000 seats tend to be empty for Gujarat University affiliate science colleges because only 6,751 students have been included in the Register of the merit provision issued by the Acceptance Committee.
About 16,000 students participate in the registration process.
However, only 6,751 candidates who managed to reach the provisional list, said source at GU.
“There are 14,066 seats available for BSC courses in Gu Colleges affiliated where more than 7,000 are expected to escape this year,” said a source at the University.
