WASHINGTON: The United States has helped more than 900 American citizens and legitimate remains to leave Afghanistan and move to the United States since August 31, after ending the American war there, the US State Department said on Monday.
The United States has directly helped 479 American citizens and 450 public remains, in addition to their close family, departing Afghanistan and moved to the United States since the end of August, the State Department said in a statement.
This body is related to less than a dozen US citizens who want to leave the country, ready to depart and have a necessary travel document, according to the statement.
“There is no deadline for this job,” said the department.
Two occupation for two decades in the United States peaked in airlift which was constantly organized in August where more than 124,000 civilians – including America, Afghanistan and others – were evacuated when the Taliban took over.
But thousands of other Afghans allied with the risk of malicious Taliban persecution.
