MySuru: From the last two months, the Chamarajanagar border district has reported a surge in eye donations.
9,500 individuals including 900 Medical Students of the Chamarajanagar Medical Institute of Medical Sciences have registered for eye donations.
Inspired by actor Puneeph Rajkumar, who is a native of Gajanur in the district, the district government has launched a donation after his death two months ago.
District administration launched a drive along with the Indian Red Cross Society district chapter and the Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS).
