Jhansi: At least 41 new Covid cases were reported in Jhansi on Thursday.
With this, the total number of positive active cases has risen to 73.
From the case, four were treated at Jhansi Medical College, nine in a military hospital, 59 under house isolation while someone came from another state.
According to the medical bulletin issued by Jhansi CMO, Dr.
Anil Kumar, on Tuesday 4786 tested where 41 was detected positively.
These include 24 men and 17 women including two 16 years old girls.
Of these, ten cases have been reported from Cantonese while one of the housing compounds.
On the other hand, six new Covid cases were reported from the district of Lalitpur on Thursday with a total number of positive cases that increased to 14.
Seeing a sudden increase in the case, Commissioner Jhansi Division, Ajay Shankar Pandey issued instructions to the authorities to ensure more testing along with the following Covid safety protocol.
He also asked various associations of traders not to let the market be crowded.
He also asked to intensify the vaccination of children of the age group of 15-18 years.
