After the investigation after complaints by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya, the status of the land from the land was removed on 3.
The main secretary (income and forest) Nitin Kareer was present for online hearing carried out by Lokayukta where the forgery and the violation was discussed and the state revealed the findings.

The selling deed was registered on June 19, 2019, but the mutation in the 7/12 extract showed land sales to Puriab was not carried out.
In December 2020, after the controversy broke the illegal development of a resort on the property, the Parab sold it to one Sadanand Kadam.
Land records reflect the names of Sathe and Kadam, said Sanjay Shinde, additional collectors, Ratnagiri.
He has served a notification of the current owner of the Kadam for carrying out construction without permission.
Kadam approached the local session court in July 2021 and got a status quo order.
The next hearing on December 13, said report on revenue at Lokayukta.
The request was carried out by additional collectors after complaints by Somaiya to the Governor of Bhagat Singh Koshyari, who continued to Lokayukta.
Lokayukta, in turn, directed the government to investigate and submit a report.
Somaiya accused the Puriab of building resorts (Sai Resort) violating CRZ norms and without permission from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority.
This is confirmed by the Department of Environment.
“The fact that non-agricultural permits is not given shows that it is a case of forgery.
I have filed a complaint with the Dapoli police station, but they still haven’t registered Fir,” Somaiya said.
The home department official also said they did not find the wrong one.
But with an income investigation revealed that it did not mark the land as Na, it was clear that the document was damaged.
Somaiya has now been directed by Lokayukta to submit a statement.
After that, three departments will be asked to respond.
Parab, in the past, has been accused of building an illegal office in the open space owned by Mhada in Bandra East.
Here too, Parab has told him that he is not the owner of the land and the structure is not his.
