Rajkot: A mother cooks a story about a golden chain robbery in Jamnagar to cover her son’s ignorance that has sold it to buy a gift for his girlfriend! According to the B Division B police station, the woman, a resident of the Navagam region, called the police on Wednesday to file a complaint from three ‘armed men’ covering her house and robbed cash of 11 tolas.
A police team along with local branches that Sleuth reached the place and found things in the scattered house.
The woman told the police that her son had gone after the robber.
The police are looking for CCTV cameras in the area but did not find suspicious ones.
They then called son, Babu Jogal, for questioning who broke down and claimed his crime.
Jogal, a divorcee, has a gifted gold chain for his former wife by his parents in a safe deposit house.
“He got a job in Jabalpur where he fell in love with a girl.
He wants to give expensive gifts that he sells the chain.
When Babu’s brother asked about the gold chain two days ago, Babu and his mother made up the overall robbery story to disguise his actions, “said a police officer.
