Hyderabad: In what could disappoint the powerful TRS, Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan said he would save a complaint box outside Rajbhavan for people to file complaints and suggestions.
Other boxes will be given to receive complaints relating to Rajbhavan staff.
Speaking to reporters on New Year’s Day, the governor said complaints and suggestions would be sent to the government to take appropriate action.
“The idea is to act as a bridge between the government and the people.
I don’t say they (complaints) will be resolved instantly.
But, complaints and suggestions received from people will be sent to action,” the Governor said.
The powerful TRS was reportedly annoyed with the governor’s decision to receive complaints.
The source said the party would wait and see how the governor’s initiative would come out in the coming days.
A little more than two years ago, Soundararajan had expressed his desire to hold a ‘Praja Darrbar’ to hear complaints of people in Rajbhavan.
His desire cannot be realized because of a pandemic.
This is the first time, a governor, who has inaugurated in Telangana and when the country is put together, has taken the complaints box initiative for the people.
Since the soundararajan was appointed as Governor of Telangana, he was active and tried to interact with people.
He visited Nims and other hospitals during the peak of Covid-19 and even went to the tribal hamlets to check the vaccination drive.
He recently visited the rice procurement center to see the first procurement process.
He even expressed his dislike of certain problems, especially during the pandemic, and emphasized the need for more testing and improving facilities, many of the government’s virtues.
Recently, he lifted the Hackles Trs in power by refusing to nominate Rady’s Kaushik rice as MLC under the governor’s quota.
Kaushik was then accommodated under the quota of MLA.
Soundararajan, who worked as President of BJP Tamil Nadu Nadu President before being appointed as governor here, expressed his desire to hold the Darbar Praja in September 2019 a week after he assumed costs.
He even answered that he was considering doing Darbar through his Twitter handle to the MBT leader Amjed Ullah Khan.
The TRS government does not respond to its proposition.
Meanwhile, the governor has congratulated the Minister of Health T Harish Rao to successfully complete the 100% first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
“Telangana is the first major country to reach this historical milestone.
We also thank the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing adequate vaccine doses to the country,” he said.
The governor hopes for the Covid-19-year-old year in 2022.
