Vadodara: University of M s Collaboration with HEUBACH Color Private Limited (HCPL) is launching a postgraduate Postgraduate Diploma Program in Industrial Chemistry and Sustainable Technology.
The MoU for this effect was signed on Tuesday to start collaboration in the flow of chemical engineering and material science.
“The purpose of MOU is to provide specialized knowledge of the chemical industry, exposure and special training for new graduates from every chemical branch and graduates from chemical engineering or the flow of material science,” said Professor of the Kataria Day, Dean of the Faculty of Science.
Mou, initially for a period of five years, was signed before the MSU Vice-Chancellor Professor Parimal Vyas, leading the registrar from K M Chudasama and Director of HCPL Ravi Kapoor.
A large number of senior industrial professionals, some well-known faculty members from the Institute of National Repute along with faculty members from the Department of Chemistry, Applied Chemistry Department, Chemical Engineering and the University Pharmacy Department have committed to teaching and sharing their expertise for the course.
“Students take courses will have the opportunity to carry out industrial specialized training for four months.
As part of MOU, HCPL will facilitate project internships in HCPL and other industries,” Kataria said.
HCPL will also support students to find work in accordance with various chemical industries by providing guidance and counseling.
This course will function as a unique university industry interaction model, officials said.
