Vadodara: After two messy guards and contractors were tested positive for Covid-19, University M decided to limit the cross hostel entries of students in the Hall of the University residence.
Last week, two spatial guards lived on the Hostel children’s campus were tested positively.
Then, a cook who works in the chaos of the hostel is too tested positively Covid-19.
“After the guards were tested positively, all students tested in the same hall, were carried out as part of the precaution.
None of the students who have tested positively,” said Dr.
K M Chudasama, leading the Registrar of the MSU.
The hostel has operated at a capacity of 50% according to the guidelines issued by the state government.
“We have now decided to limit Cross Hostel entries, the opposite happens freely.
We have made this decision so that the spread of infection can be contained,” Chudasama said.
At present, 1,200 strange students including boys and girls are in the campus hall where they live in boys and girls.
Last year, university officials had established an isolation ward in three hostel campuses that provide isolation and quarantine facilities to students who tested positive as long as they stay at the hostel place.
This time, however, officials have not founded such an insulation ward but issued a general direction to students to adopt the appropriate Covid-19 behavior.
