Vadodara: S University’s Faculty of Social Work on Monday established Covid-19 response field activity project titled’SETU’, an electronic help desk. The digital help desk will be a one time centre for all Covid-19 support and care agencies throughout the continuing pandemic. SETU will do the job for attaining six important objectives. “First is medical care where we’ll maintain record of physicians, medications, injections, oxygen, and oxi-meters, oxygen concentrators, laboratory and bloodstream and offer this info to the destitute as and if needed,” said college dean professor Bhavna Mehta. “Second is counseling services for Covid-19 individual, their relatives, medical personnel and other corona warriors. Third is query and referral services where we’ll offer details regarding tiffin solutions, government strategies, ambulance, followup solutions, vaccination facilities, advice for orphans or single-parent kids,” she explained. Through internet intervention with kids, the fourth attribute, the faculty members can interact with kids, play games, run informational and inspirational sessions through virtual manner. SETU may also mobilize assets, raise capital, prepare listing of donors, donors and gather medications amongst others. “Sixth is shipping services where we’ll offer transport services to MSU employees,” said Mehta, including that the goal of the project will be to bridge the gap between sources and influenced individuals.
