During the bureaucratic reshuffle a few weeks ago, he posted as Kurukshetra SP.
He returned with shunted to the Indian reserve battalion in Gurugram recently after his name was cut in the probe.
Meanwhile, this case was handed over to STF, which arrested two doctors suspected of being masterminded by theft.
In their disclosure statement, the doctors said they paid Sethia RS 3.5 crore cash and gold gold as bribes.
Then, Sethia allegedly maintained Rs 20 lakh and returned the remaining money and gold.
Sethia sent a notification to join an investigation on Monday.
After he went to communicate, STF added his name and part of the anti-corruption law and part 411 (dishonestly accepting the stolen property) IPC to the Firf theft at the Kherki Daula police station in August.
Dig (STF) Satheesh Balan confirmed his development.
“Investigations are underway.
Everyone regardless of their post will be investigated and when their involvement was found,” Balan said.
STF also caught one person, Ravinder, on Wednesday and recovered more than Rs 1.8 Crore from him.
Until now, around 10 people, including two doctors and ASI Vikas Gulia from Delhi police specifically, had been arrested.
The police have recovered around RS 6 Crore from their ownership.
According to the police, the theft was carried out in a housing community in sector 82 on August 4.
Flat where it happens owned by community developers.
On August 21, a FIR was registered at the Kherki Daula police station under Section 380 (theft) without details of the stolen amount.
The 31-sector crime unit first investigated this case and arrested six people, including Gulia ASI.
The Gurugram police said the theft was Rs 50 Lakh.
Gulia was then released with a guarantee.
The kasing was then handed over to STF.
“Initial investigations have several lacunes, which we have completed,” said a senior police officer.
One doctor was suspected of telling Gangster Vikas Langarpuria about cash, after which the rental gang members were flat in the housing community and carrying out theft on his direction.
Until now, investigators have found a trace of more than Rs 20 Crore.
STF said Gulia ASI had a link to Gangster and distributed stolen cash.
When he came out of the guarantee, he could damage the evidence, the officer said.
“We will submit an application in court to cancel the guarantee,” Balan said.
