Mumbai: On Saturday, Mumbai crossed a milestone of 7.20 lakh for Covid-19 recovery.
With 495 release that day, the total number of people who had recovered from infection since the pandemic began in March 2020 has risen to 7,20,487.
This city now has a stable recovery rate of 97 percent.
Also, 405 people were tested positive for Coronavirus on Saturday, taking Caseload to 7.43,819.
Six more people gave up on the virus, and with that, the death toll jumped to 16,122.
Mumbai is now abandoned with 4,713 active cases.
The overall growth rate of Covid-19 cases from September 25 to October 1 is 0.06 percent, while the doubling level is 1,169 days.
The number of buildings closed in the BMC limit has dropped to 44, while there are no active detention zones (slums and chawl areas) in the city.
