Mumbai: Mumbai Police Arrested by 43-year-old from Mira Road who has opened the confidence of fictitious education and anchored with almost Rs 2 Crore which he collected from parents of students, after luring them with a 50% discount for the cost of underneath the false government scheme for the poor.
Police Pydhonie, along with Kashimira police, arrested Kaid Johar Ali on Sundays under the IPC section for cheating, criminal violations, and below part 3 of Maharashtra depositors protection.
This case is registered after several parents raised the alarm about ‘trust’, a proud group.
According to the police, between October 2019 and April 2021, the KAID allegedly opened fictitious trust and collected Rs 1.94 Crore from parents from 7,495 students.
The police said that each of the parents gave him Rs 2,500, in addition to copies of their Aadhaar cards, photos and other documents to utilize a fake scheme.
“To win their trust, he paid a few students.
But once he lured more students, he escaped with their money.
We have caught the KAID but have not recovered money.
We have written a letter to the bank to freeze his account,” said a man Commissioned Officer.
