Mumbai: A 38-year-old woman was killed by her husband on a busy road in Jogeshwari recently, after she asked her for divorce, police said.
The incident occurred near High School Welfare in Jogeshwari East.
Meghwadi police said the victim was on his way to work when her husband attacked him and then escaped.
Relatives said the defendant often attacked him, so he asked for a divorce.
The couple has three children.
