Mumbai: Mumbai on Sunday reported 1,160 new coronavirus positive cases, taking the total calculation to 10,45,630, while the death of 10 such patients increased the number of victims to 16,612, the Civic body said.
2,530 patients were repatriated during post-day recovery.
So far, 10.15,451 patients have recovered from infection in the city, the health department of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said in a statement.
There are 10,797 cases of Covid-19 active in the city.
With 46,307 tests carried out on Sundays, the total test number reached 1,52,43,823.
Of the 1,160 new cases, 1,009 asymptomatic patients, while 160 were hospitalized.
From them, 29 are on oxygen support.
Of the 37,573 beds, 2,268 was occupied.
The Mumbai recovery rate is 97 percent and the ruling rate of cases is 375 days.
Commissioner of Civic Mumbai I S Chahal said the city’s positioning level has dropped to 2.5 percent.
