Mumbai: The day after entering more than 500 cases, Mumbai on Thursday reported 458 new Coronavirus cases.
The overall case has now risen to 7.42,996.
Also, the death toll has now increased to 16,110 with seven people who gave up on the virus that day.
Four of the deceased was over 60 years old, while three members of the age group 40-60.
Six of them also have comorbidity.
On the other hand, 414 people recovered from Covid-19 on Thursday, according to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With a 97 percent recovery rate, Mumbai has so far recorded 7.19,632 release.
The city is now left with 4,761 active cases.
The overall growth rate of the Covid-19 case from September 23 to September 29 was 0.06 percent, while the doubling level was 1,151 days.
The number of buildings closed within the BMC limit is now down to 46, while there are no active detention zones (slums and chawls) in the city.
