Mumbai: Mumbai on Sunday reported 523 new cases of Coronavirus.
It was for the second day in a row that the city recorded more than 500 cases, after recording more than 600 cases in October 7.
The overall case has now risen to 7.47,305.
Also, the death toll has now increased to 16,152 with three people who gave up on the virus that day.
The three died more than 60 years and had comorbidity.
On the other hand, 498 people recovered from Covid-19 on Sunday, according to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With a 97 percent recovery rate, Mumbai has so far recorded 7.23,606 disposal.
The city is now left with 5,038 active cases.
The overall growth rate of the Covid-19 case from October 2 to October 8 was 0.06 percent, while the doubling rate was 1,091 days.
The number of buildings closed in the BMC limit is now pitched in 49, while there are no active detention zones (slums and chawls) in the city.
