Mumbai: For the first time in a few months, Mumbai on Wednesday once again reported more than 500 new Covid-19 cases.
On Wednesday, the city saw a surge in 530 cases, taking the total number of cases to 7.47,608.
Also, four people, including three with co-morbidity, surrendered to the virus.
Until now, 16,004 people in the city have lost their lives because of Covid-19.
During the day, 349 people were sent home, took the total recovery amount to 7.25,247.
With more cases compared to recovery, active cases have seen waves.
At present, 3,895 people undergo treatment.
The recovery rate is 97 percent, while the multiplier tariff is 1,253 days.
Meanwhile, the number of active closed buildings now stands at 50, while there is one active detention zone.
