Ahmedabad: mutilated body of a 39-year-old woman was found from his home in Colony in Naroda Road in MEMCHY on Tuesday.
Police found traces of burns, possibly caused by acid or chemical, on her face, arms and private parts.
Suspicious police that she died after being hit in the temple with a sharp weapon.
They identified him as Hasumeni Solanki, a sanitation worker with GCS Hospital in Memco.
Hasumati had rented his house in Colony six months ago and have stayed there alone.
Her husband Yashwant Solanki, 44, said in yew with Shaherkotda police saying that his wife had been living alone following the domestic dispute between them.
He told police that he suspected the involvement of the Bhuro Leuva with whom he was allegedly having an affair.
Inspector Shaherkotda K B Shankhla said that his body was found after his landlord Kanhaiyalal Sharma on Tuesday detected a foul odor coming from the house Hasumati.
He called relatives Hasumati and open house only to find her body.
According Shankhla, forensic experts say he may have been killed 2-3 days ago.
Further investigation in this case.
Shaherkotda police filed a complaint of murder and violation of the defendant’s home were not known.
