A Mysore University student who arrived from Tanzania to Hyderabad was tested positive Omicron.
He is asymptomatic and isolated in institutional facilities.
The swab sample was collected at Hyderabad International Airport after his arrival in India.
The test results were sent to the district authorities on Tuesday.
“He is asymptomatic,” Dho said Dr.

According to the authorities, on Tuesday, the swab sample was collected for the second RT-PCR test.
Meanwhile, the authorities informed that a nine-year-old girl, the first Omicron patient from the city, had recovered.
